Airbrush Expo Leipzig 2016: Good success for airbrushers and sick children

The conclusion of the Airbrush Expo 2016 at the Modell-Hobby-Spiel trade fair in Leipzig/Germany is amazing: 100.600 visitors, 52 students at airbrush workshops, 25 happy exhibiting artists and 405 Euros for the good cause. With the program of the airbrush association including demos, 1 hour workshops as well as painting and auctioning of 12 carton stools, the amount could be donated to „Paulis Momente hilft e.V.
The money will help to realize projects such as leisure activities for sick children and their families, the pearls collection project which is meant to be a reward and documentation of child’s healing procedures as well as initiating a palliative care for children in Leipzig. Moreover, an artwork painted in six parts by seven artist has also been given to the charity foundation to be auctioned off.
There were a lot of visitors at the exhibition and a very good feedback. Many artists were happy to sell originals and prints of their artworks and receive commissions. While painting the stools and their own artworks, visitors watched and informed themselves about the airbrush technique.
