The general assembly of the Airbrush-Fachverband e.V. which has taken place on Oct. 21, 2016 in Bochum, Germany, opened the way for a major restructuring of the association: The hitherto existing differentiation between full members and corresponding members will be cancelled. The assembly resolved to change the articles of associations, saying that artists and airbrush users shall also be considered full members. The conclusion of the Airbrush Expo 2016 at the Modell-Hobby-Spiel trade fair in Leipzig/Germany is amazing: 100.600 visitors, 52 students at airbrush workshops, 25 happy exhibiting artists and 405 Euros for the good cause. With the program of the airbrush association including demos, 1 hour workshops as well as painting and auctioning of 12 carton stools, the amount could be donated to „Paulis Momente hilft e.V. The airbrush association, Airbrush-Fachverband e.V., opens its services and memberships for airbrush enthusiats from all over Europe and beyond. Founded in 2009 in Germany, the association of manufacturers, retailers, artists and other experts in the art of airbrushing has now decided to go international and welcome members from beyond the German-speaking countries.

To the event

This is the motto of the new brochure in which the Airbrush-Fachverband has now created an overview of the advantages of being a member of the association. The membership is open to all professional, extra-professional and private „airbrushing enthusiats“. Beside the promotion on the website and in brochures as well as imparting jobs and commissions, members benefit from news from and contacts to the industry and the opportunity to take part in fairs and exhibitions. „The Fantasy World of Airbrush“ has become one of the largest Airbrush-exhibitions in Germany with over 50 artists from the whole of Europe attending. The visitors of the US-Car Show do not only just have the possibility to admire fascinating works of art on various undergrounds, but they can look over the shoulder of artists at work. This way, they gain more practical insights into the airbrush technique and come to a better understanding of this particular art form.

The Airbrush-Fachverband e.V. holds a new database showing shows, fairs, workshops and exhibitions all about the topic of airbrushing. In the categories Shows and Exhibitions you can find general events that could be interesting in different fields of airbrush application, such as hobby and craft shows, motorbike and tuning shows. In the workshop section you can find workshops and seminars held or hosted by the association members.

The database will be continuously complemented and is supposed to help people with finding relevant events and workshops. Dates and events can be submitted for free at the association office at info@airbrushfachverband.de.

As an inherent part of the yearly hobby and crafts show „Modell-Hobby-Spiel“, the Airbrush Expo Leipzig is the No. One platform for airbrush art in Germany when it comes to visitors and public attention. Airbrush-Fachverband e.V., the airbrush association founded 2009 in Germany, opens its gates for international airbrush enthusiats. Upon common request, the association decided in 2015 to widen its activities beyond the German-speaking countries and open up for international membership.
